Parents

Mini SchoolParents are regarded as partners of our setting who have full participatory rights. These include a right to be:

  • Valued and respected
  • Kept informed and involved
  • Consulted and included at all levels

Policies and Procedures are available for you to look at any time including our complaints procedure.
The policies and procedures help us to make sure that the service provided by us is a high quality one and that being a member of our setting is an enjoyable and beneficial experience for each child and their parents.

Our Kindergarten has a duty to help Safeguard Children against suspected or actual 'significant harm'. Our way of working with children and their parents ensures we are aware of any problems that may emerge and can offer support, including referral to appropriate agencies when necessary.

As part of our Kindergartens policy we aim to make sure that the provision meets the needs of each individual child, we promote equal opportunities and take into account any Special Needs a child may have. The Kindergarten works to the requirements of The Education Act and The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice.

The special needs co-ordinator is Teresa Gorman.
